Architecture
A building will hold still for as long as you want, which makes it about the opposite of photographing a band. That's most of the appeal. I can walk around one, come back an hour later, and still get the frame I wanted. These are the ones where the structure itself is why I stopped: the lines, the repetition, the way a corner meets the sky. Some are whole buildings, some are interiors, and a few are one detail I couldn't walk past.
