2025 WeatherTech Vintage Weekend at Road America

My dad and I go to this race every single year. The races feature older cars of all makes and models, and we love walking around checking them out. Spectators bring their own old cars too, and those are just as fun to look at as the actual race cars.

Before the Road America racetrack was built in the 1950s, races were run right on the streets of Elkhart Lake and the surrounding two-lane highways. As an homage to those days, the event holds a "race car parade" where the actual race cars leave the track and drive into the town of Elkhart Lake. They park along the streets, and thousands of spectators walk among them to check them out.
