Slow Shutter
Leaving the shutter open turns motion into something you can see. A train becomes a streak, a crowd becomes a blur, traffic becomes a line of light. I like that it records a stretch of time instead of one instant. It also fails constantly. For every frame here there are a dozen where I moved, or the exposure was wrong, or the thing I was waiting for never came through the frame.
