The Whiskeybelles

The Whiskeybelles are an all-female Milwaukee trio playing traditional country and Americana — vintage-country, folk-revival, and roots-country songs alongside their own witty originals. The lineup: Chrissy Dzioba (vocals, acoustic guitar), Sara Moilanen (vocals, bass) — my wife, which is a big part of why you'll find so many photos of this band here — and Kimberly "Kimmy" Hanson (vocals, fiddle). They've won WAMI and Shepherd Express awards for Best Americana/Bluegrass Band, and have opened for acts including the Violent Femmes and Charlie Daniels.
