Hello, I’m Tim, and I love photographs.
I love making them, and when I come across photos that someone has crafted well, I get completely lost in the stories they tell. I want to make photographs that do that.
I’m allergic to social media, but I still want a place to share my work. So, this site is a home for the photos I make — or at least the ones I’m willing to show you.
I’m not a professional photographer, and this isn’t a portfolio for hire. In fact, it’s more like a historical record of my progress as a guy who can’t stop taking photos and a place to document my life.
That being said, if you like what you see and think we’d click, I do know which end of a camera to point, and I’m open to a conversation about your idea.
I tend to gravitate toward live music photography. Like photos, music moves me in a way I can’t always find words for, and shooting shows is one way I try to express that feeling — and sometimes it even works.
But you’ll also eventually find plenty of other subjects here: landscapes, urban scenes, quiet details, and some close-up photos that capture details most people might miss. Most of my photos are shot around Milwaukee, WI, and wherever else I happen to be with a camera in hand.
